BUILD. Something happens when you stick your hands into the ground. A certain energy is released. There’s that musty smell of earth. The glow of mineral soil. The antiquity and story of red rot. All of which sparks the tingle of ideas: how this labour will one day turn into love. How a stroke of the polaski now will turn into a stroke of the pedal tomorrow. How both the shovel and the axe will – with a little sweat and ingenuity – send you skyward.
Building trail. The honoured tradition that gives mountain biking its home; its place. That most-celebrated forurm where mountain biking’s adventures and memories are forged. How those trails are built, where they take you, their burms, jumps, stunts, super gnarly sections, their ribbons of flow, all came from a pair of hands. Hands with vision. Hands with commitment. Hands that know that if you’re going to hold on to handlebars, you must first grab hold of a shovel.

Building. Creation. Two of the root philosophy that drive everything we do here at Sombrio. For as some wise dude once said, “Build it and they will come.”
Enjoy the trail. Enjoy our clothes. And while you’re at it, stick your hands in the earth. We’ll all be glad you did.
