Gullevich update!

Sombrios local funny man and professional sender has been working on finishing up his segment in NWD 8 “Smackdown”. While working in an undisclosed location, Geoff has been building a line that will tie up his part nicely while hanging with some of his riding buddies. (Photos below)

Can’t wait to see what Gully has in store for us this year. “Smackdown” premieres in Las Vegas at Interbike. If you’re in the neighborhood, check it out.

Sombrios BC front man put his money where his mouth is

These are his words:

Well I have arrived at Crankworks after what felt like a long ride in a short period of time. Watching the tour each day inspired me on the screaming fast downhills and slow grinding climbs… maybe my team doctor can get me some EPO next year. The weather has got worse, but the flat tires stopped after re-taping my rims.

I had fairly easy days through the Okanagan, saw my shop accounts (Freedom, bike barn, Kelowna cycle, Gericks, Cycle path, Olympia) in the morning and ride in the afternoon. Leaving Vernon it was tempting to take the ride offered by Scott (trek rep) as the rain and wind pounded. the 110km ride soaked me right from the start and felt like I was going backwards in the wind. BEN BOYKO TAKES HOME THE WIN AT KOKANEE CRANKWORXS SLOPESTYLE 2007

Sombrio’s front man, Ben Boyko, threw down 2 solid runs amongst the worlds best slopestyle specialists at Kokanee Crankworxs, to take home the win. With a crowd of 22,000 spectators and another 10,000 people logged onto Rip.tv and Crankworxs.com to watch the festivals most anticipated event, it was no question that Boyko’s 360 off the 22 foot Jumbo Drop sealed the deal.
